The harvesting and production of Huoshan Dendrobium follow the traditional eighteen-step artisanal method, which includes key processes such as harvesting, cleaning, natural drying, and low-temperature baking.
1.Harvesting: Harvest is done in the spring and early summer during peak flowering. The flowers are picked in the early morning to ensure freshness and vitality. Only the highest quality Huoshan Dendrobium is handpicked to avoid damage.
2.Cleaning: The harvested Huoshan Dendrobium undergoes meticulous cleaning to remove impurities and dust, ensuring its natural color and quality.
3.Natural Drying: The flowers are naturally air-dried in a cool place, slowly evaporating moisture while maintaining their shape and natural fragrance.
4.Low-Temperature Baking: Low-temperature baking is used to prevent the loss of effective components like polysaccharides, alkaloids, and flavonoids, ensuring the light aroma and golden color of Huoshan Dendrobium, making it suitable for brewing or medicinal use.
The production process of Huoshan Dendrobium is entirely manual, ensuring that each batch presents the best flavor and medicinal effects. This traditional craft not only preserves cultural heritage but also reflects a respect for nature and health, making Huoshan Dendrobium a precious natural health food.
